A Different Perspective-The Paper Mama Photo Challenge

 


We were having our evening dessert of vanilla icecream and Ian thought it was great fun that he could see his reflection in his spoon. Just look at that grin. You can see me behind the camera if you look closely, too. Definitely a different perspective. :)

 

Then I decided to sit on the floor below my 2 year old and watch him eat his icecream. I rarely see him from this angle since he's so short. :)

This is Baby S. Isn't she sweet! I saw her today at a baby shower for another friend and snapped this little darling's picture as she was getting her nappie changed. :)

I was invited to hop on over to

A Beautiful Life's Photoshoot Friday and decided that I would play along. There really are no rules, but the premise is that we tend to hide behind the camera and it's important to remember to step in front of it occasionally. I know I tend to hide my frumpy self in my mommy wear and just take photos of the kids. Well here we all are being incredibly silly! And it was fun! Hello Everyone! And Happy Friday! I am actually home today instead of pushing pills, recovering from my derm surgery. I'm so glad that I didn't work today. I am pretty sore.

Anyway, I have been working on my website Carla's Candids for a while, building and aspiring to have some great photos to show you. Well, it's been up and running for a couple of weeks and I figured I should introduce it to the blogosphere. Today, I decided that I should link it up to Facebook so I also have a Carla's Candids Facebook Page. If you like what you see and want follow along in my journey, please "like" my page!

Paper Mama Valentine Photo Challenge

 


So I decided to try this Valentine Challenge at the Paper Mama while I was working out the kinks of my upcoming photobooth. Here is my result. I'm not super great at Photoshop and the card building, but I thought that it worked. :) And for those of you who haven't "met" me, yes, that's yours truly sitting there in front of the camera for once!
