Okay, more than a little! A LOT. I've actually contemplated getting LASIK surgery done on my eyes for well over 10 yesrs. I've always been a chicken. I still am a chicken, but it seems like it's too amazing of a procedure to pass up at the price I can get it done for. So here I am, facing the demons and the fear and going in for the procedure on Thursday morning at 10:30am. I've made arrangements with a great friend to go with me and for my nanny to take care of the kids for the entire day so that I can rest and sleep the mandatory post op requirements. It seems like mandatory vacation is turning out to be a good thing. I wasn't sure when I was going to be able to get this done and it worked out almost too perfectly to be able to be fit in without having to call out of work. If you could just keep me in your prayers and the eye doctor (Dr Walters) in your prayers too, I would appreciate it. I am very optimistic that my need for contacts and glasses will be gone for a good long while!
Praying that it all goes smoothly!
ReplyDeleteI'll Pray for you, and I really think you're going to love it. Eric was most tickled at being able to read the alarm clock as soon as he woke up from his first manditory nap.
ReplyDeleteOMG...I'm so freaking jealous...do tell how you got so lucky and how it went! I want this so badly I cannot stand it!
