Ian was invited to a birthday party today and they had a clown who did face painting. I didn't get to go since I was here editing photos while Aaron napped so I took this picture of Ian before he watshed his face. He thought it was pretty cool that he was a puppy and Aaron thought it was pretty fun, too!

From the photobooth tonight at the Moms R Us Valentine's Party. I set my camera up so that we could all have fun taking "photobooth" style photographs. It was fun!

Joy of Love Day 10 & Day 41/365

Where they are comfortable. Izzy is comfy wherever you have left a warm spot. She will take your spot in a heartbeat as soon as you move. Here she is curled up with my quilt and pillow on the couch.





Day 41/365 - Another 2 fer . I keep seeing these amazing reddish orange berries?? growing among all the brown along the road and have been wanting to photograph them for about a week. Today it was finally warm enough for me to run and do it. Here are a couple of my favorite shots.

And finally, I keep seeing these cute photos with conversation hearts so I just had to take a picture.

Shoot and Edit Week 5 -

SOOC Image

First edit: adjusted levels and white balance. Increased blacks and midtones slightly, ran high pass filter and then desaturated all colors except red. Done in Lightroom.
Adjusted levels and corrected white balance. Added a color layer of a chestnut brown on a 60% opacity on soft light blending mode. Then I ran a high pass filter at 10%.

Pictures of the Day 40/365

I couldn't decide which photo to use mostly because they are so incredibly different. One is my oldest showing off PJ day, aka no school because there is ice day, on my newest brown crinkle backdrop and the 2nd is showing off the ice drops that formed on my bush outside. I liked both shots so you are getting a two-fer today!
