Swim Lessons

 


So it seems our summer is going to be just full of all sorts of fun! Last week was Vacation Bible School which Ian loved. This week is the start of 2 weeks of swim lessons at the Killeen Boys and Girls Club Natatorium. Ian and his buddies signed up for the same class. It's nice to sit with other mom friends and talk instead of sitting by myself. The boys are doing well listening to the instructor. I'm glad that we found a place here in Killeen instead of driving over to Belton this year. It's been way more convenient!

Busy Week!

 

Ian had Vacation Bible School this week. He really enjoyed it! He went from 9am until noon everyday and came home exhausted. We managed to have some fun afternoons since Bill was able to be home around 2pm each day. It was great since we could concentrate on a little one on one time with each of the kids.

We've been enjoying playing outdoors in the evenings before the sun goes down, but when it's not quite so hot. The kids get a kick out of being able to run off their energy after dinner. Tonight Ian took the frisbee out, but we had to nix that when we realized how bad his aim was. LOL. He ended up putting Aaron in the wagon and running him around the yard in big circles!

And that's not all of them. I know of at least 2 that aren't in the photo. Ian has become quite the birder. We have enjoyed sitting on the porch and identifying birds by their calls. We also look for birds on the fence, in the trees and flying in the sky. We have a couple of bird guides for children and it's becoming quite a hobby for him!

Weekend Update!

 


It was my weekend to work so that pretty much axes all the fun stuff except today I decided that we should go to the waterpark when I got off. Bill had never been so he got a chance to enjoy it, too. It was crowded, but the kids really enjoyed 2 hours of fun in the sun.
