These are my engagement ring and wedding bands along with my husband's band. His is pretty beat up from his Army lifestyle so it lacks the lustre it used to have. He faithfully wears it every day.
I found that taking photos of jewelry is challenging. I admit to not trying super hard on some of the shots for this Joy of Love course, but really wanted to get "that shot" for this assignment.

1/100s f/4 1.19 meters from subject. Manual mode. I did use a flash but bounced it off the ceiling with a Light Scoop.
I know from previous attempts at photographing my wedding ring with our decent camera and the point and shoot that getting good shots of jewelery is hard! You did a pretty good job here, though!
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast between ladies vs mens wedding rings. Ours are always so pretty and sparkley and theirs are always pretty beat up. Like they'd be caught dead wearing something sparkley! LOL
