Figuring this stuff out!

Well, I know my page here is pretty darn boring and so I am trying spruce it up a bit. I found a little website that had some templates already in order so I added that to my blog today. I know there have to be other interesting things that I can do, but I am slowly learning. I feel like a baby blogger!

Today was just your typical day around here when I have to work. I try to keep Ian quiet and in bed until around 8am and managed that this morning, but Aaron was up at 7:15am to nurse. I really needed that 45 minutes of sleep, but mommyhood seems to interfere with that. There are days I long for a nap or just a moment of peace and there is none to be found. Oh well! But I digress....

I managed to get myself ready for work, get the boys dressed and fed only to have Aaron crawl under the coffee table and knock my glass of tea everywhere. I really hadn't wanted to clean like that today, but there you go with that whole mommy issue again!

Work was pretty okay today. We weren't super busy and managed fairly well. I must admit that I am not loving this 4 days in a row thing, but I know that I will feel better on Wednesday when I have 5 days off. The boys seem to be adjusting to Eliana being here and Ian gets really excited to when she rings the doorbell. This makes me feel like I have found a good person. Ian tells me that they read stories, etc, so that is a good thing, too. Aaron is still a picky little dude when it comes to his milk and isn't taking bottles uber well, but he seems to take enough and eat enough solids to hold him over until he can nurse. Of course that makes for a long evening for me, because he wants constant attention from me. I think he'll get used to the whole thing eventually, but it's been a little rougher on him than I had thought it would be.

Well, it's late and I have nothing earth shattering to share so have sweet dreams and a blessed day tomorrow!
