Pirate Pop-Up
I bought this game since the concept was so simple and the element of surprise was potentially so great. I wasn't disappointed! Pirate Pop-Up is basically a game where you put swords in the barrel to see who makes the pirate jump out of the barrel first. It's "barrels" of fun and Ian and Bill and I have been laughing and laughing at the silly pirate!
Giveaways to Highlight
A couple of blogs that I read are hosting giveaways/raffles and I wanted to mention them here for my very small flock to make note of.
This first blog is actually that of a friend of a friend. I don't personally know this family, but my friend Susan does. Both families have successfully adopted 2 of the cutest little boys from Russia. Both are now in the process of trying to expand those families. This blogger is trying to raise money to help cover the costs of their 2nd adoption. They are raffling off several items, but the main one is an Apple Ipad. For a 10 dollar donation, you get 3 chances toward the Ipad or any of the other lovely choices. I have had several friends in my life blessed with the miracle of adoption and I love to support their cause.
The Middle That Counts
This second blog is a really cute one that I came across looking for craft ideas that were simple and fun. Crafting Chicks does not disappoint. If you click on their blog you will see that they are giving away a "boy" giveaway. It's a washer necklace for mom and neckties for dad and boy. :) Take a look. I think you'll really enjoy them!

Cinco De Mayo Cookout
We were invited to a Cinco De Mayo (a few days early) cookout at Heritage Park in Belton. The kids had a great time playing on the playground and hitting the pinata. There was yummy food and great converation with the adults, too. It was a lovely afternoon!
